These checks help monitor and manage your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, or related conditions.

Why is this appointment important?

The appointment will be a 20 minute appointment with one of our Health Care Assistants and will take place at the surgery.

The health check includes:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Blood tests to check your Cholesterol and blood glucose
  • Waist circumference

  • Assessment of Type 2 Diabetes risk

If you have received your invite please call the practice on 01463 712157 to book an appointment.

The Directed Enhanced Service CVD scheme will only be running until February 2026, therefore we may be unable to offer the service after this date and as such we strongly encourage you to attend – your heart health matters.
