Dunedin Medical Practice is inviting patients who are eligible for an NHS cardiovascular health check under the 2025 Directed Enhanced Service for Cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention and diagnosis.
Eligible patient are aged between 35 and 60 and currently have no known history of cardiovascular disease.
These checks help monitor and manage your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, or related conditions.
Why is this appointment important?
Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of ill health, but many risk factors can be reduced or managed.
The appointment will be a 20 minute appointment with one of our Health Care Assistants and will take place at the surgery.
